The Day I lost you

Ten Months ago, I forgot our anniversary
It was a Summer Day
You hadn't said much in the morning

Nine Months ago, you lost your job
You didn't want to go outside anymore
All you wanted to do was think

Eight Months ago, you lost your Mom
I Tried to pay the bills
They couldn't save her

Seven Months ago, you crashed your Car
No charges were laid
You were never the same

Six Months ago, you were sued
I told you I would pay for it
But money doesn't grow on trees

Five Months ago, we lost our home
I didn't know what we were going to do
The world was crumbling around us

Four Months ago, you made a promise
You said everything was going to be alright
I believed you

Three Months ago, you came home late that night
You told me you took care of everything
Then I heard the sirens

Two Months ago, I visited you
You said that I should be proud of you
That you had done the right thing

One Month ago, was the last time I visited you
I was Summer Day
The Day I Lost you
Hey look at that, a post. And it's not even a s****y quote.
Horray for poetry. Wink/Razz

edit: I just realized I made a glaring mistake with the second stanza. S***.
